Mission Statement

The mission of RMHSNJ is to offer Hope, Help, and Home to critically ill children and their families.

About

Founded in 1983, RMHSNJ is one of more than 388 Ronald McDonald Houses around the world. Each year, more than 500 families stay with us as they access essential medical care for their children at five area hospitals. We provide a comfortable and safe space complete with cozy family bedroom suites, warm, nourishing meals, secure transportation, on-site laundry and amenities, all at no charge. Our RMHSNJ operate 365 days a year. Childhood illness does not take a break, and neither do we! In addition, we are proud of our eight Family Room hospital programs located in Neo-Natal Intensive Care Units throughout Southern New Jersey. These rooms offer respite and refreshment for parents whose child is confined to the hospital and who live in our area. Our Family Rooms create a safe outlet, only steps from their child's bedside, so parents can rest, have refreshments without having to go to the cafeteria, speak privately with doctors and loved ones, and never leave their child's floor.
